This month our focus is ~ ENTHUSIASM

Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success! When you do something, do it with all your might. Stamp it with your own personality. Put your whole soul into it. Be active, be energetic and faithful, and you will accomplish your objective.  

Real enthusiasm is not something you “put on” or “take off” to fit the occasion. It is a way of life and not something you use to impress people. It has nothing to do with being loud or noisy, it is an outward expression of an inner feeling. Many extremely enthusiastic people are fairly quiet, yet every fiber of their being, every word and action, attest to the fact they love life and what it means to them.

For example: Dr. Jonas Salk was filled with enthusiasm, or inner excitement, as he quietly worked in his research laboratory discovering the polio vaccine.

The word Enthusiasm comes from two Greek words “theos” and “entae” which means “God within you.” What a beautiful concept . . . God wants you to be successful. You have an enthusiasm that comes from the wellspring of all the resources within you.

In the early 90’s I taught at Dale Carnegie and one of my all-time favorite affirmations to start each class was: “when you act enthusiastic, you will be enthusiastic” we opened every class with this cheer, several times in fact, until we could hear the enthusiasm in the participants voices!

Henry Ford also said, “you can do anything if you have enthusiasm, for enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes rise to the stars!"

Can you believe it has two years since our world turned upside down with a pandemic? For me I could only see new opportunities to grow and learn new skills.  I have been hosting online events and webinars empowering teams and individuals to go to the next level of "true performance" using the Ziglar principles of success!
